Our Beliefs

The Mosaic Experience

42 A ll the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. 43 A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. 44 And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. 45 They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. 46 They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— 47 a ll the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.

Prayer: Prayer connects us to God- We believe that prayer is foundational in what we do and it helps us to discern God’s will.

The Word of God: The world needs something that never changes.- We believe that spiritual development is the foundation of forming an authentic relationship with Christ to become more Christ-like in our everyday activities, which includes loving God and His people. We believe that the Bible is the guide for this development .

Relationships: We is better than me- We believe in fellowship to build community through regularly spending time together by intentionally establishing meaningful relationships.

Serving: Saved people, serve people.- We believe that God has called us to partner with the local community through acts of service that meet the needs of the people.

Generosity: Blessed people, bless people.- We believe that God gives blessings in form of time, talent, and treasures and expects us to use all that He blesses us with to be a blessing to others

The Bible: We are founded upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired infallible Word of God and provides a blueprint for our lives.

Trinity: We believe there is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. He has revealed
Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit).

Baptism: We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with
the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Man: The Image of God: Man is made in the image of God and is the supreme object of His creation. Man was created to have fellowship with
God but became separated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man cannot attain a right relationship with God through his own effort. Every human personality is uniquely created, possesses dignity, and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

Salvation: The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when
people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.

Church: The Church is a local community of baptized believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ and
obeying all of His commands, and it seeks to bring the Gospel to the world  It is the only thing Jesus said He would build and it is the vehicle He has chosen to bring the good news to the world. The Church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ. We were all made to be a part of it.
